Hi. I am very new to the hobby, and have not made very many kits. My dad is steelrudi, and he wants me to meet you guy's. I want to learn and dad said to come here besides asking him for help too. I hope to hear from you. I like tanks, airplanes, and Sci-Fi. Any help will be great. Thanks!

Welcome on board Raymond,

You like tanks, that is good.
You like planes... ah, well we'll work on that ... (little in joke amongst the sites )
You like Sci-Fi, well, I think most of us do, even if we don't admit it... I watched Starwars II (as it was then known, ask your dad ) when it first came out in the cinema. Lasers and photon torpedos, what's not to like.

Looking forward to see you building some models, and don't hesitate to ask any questions you have.

Cheers
Henk

Welcome to Armorama. I too build Sci Fi, there are regular sci fi campaigns on Modelgeek. Take a look at the Warhammer Support campaign which just finished and the Shell of a Man campaign also.

Welcome. You will find there are a lot of knowledgable, experienced modelerrs on this site that will be able to help you with just about any questions you may have.

Rule 1. Have fun.
Rule 2. Ask for help whenever you need it.
Rule 3. Don't be scared to take your modeling to the next level.

Check out the campaigns when you have a chance. They are a lot of fun when you find one you like.

Welcome aboard - don't be shy about asking us old farts for tips and techniques - that's how we learned- in my case it was hanging around model shops- in the good old days we had real model shops with dozens of built-ups in glass cases and they always had a table in the back with somebody working on a model- you have the advantage of the internet and access to a lot of very talented builders - I think most of my fellow old-timers here will agree that we need fresh talent to keep the hobby alive - so build a kit and maybe join in a campaign or two - I have one starting up on Jan 1 - Sci-fio dio -you are welcome to join.
