I remember some years ago a BBC production called “Contact”. It was about a small platoon of paratroopers in Northern Ireland. It was made to look like a documentary film but was in fact fiction. I remember it as really interesting and had a copy on VHS. This was sadly lost a few years ago though.

Does anyone know if this is available in DVD?

Contact was sort of semi-fiction, based on an autobiographical book by AFN Clarke.

Several of the people I worked with at the time it was first shown had been there and done that, and they were a bit sceptical about the programme.
