It helps that Barv is mad as a hatter.
As per usual, completely gobsmacked. Will this be ready for Telford?

The talent is amazing. I couldn't build that even if there was a kit for it.

God's Hand is what he has, Barv just "creates" things with his hands from nothing to something beautiful.

It really looks great. I wish I would be able to build from scratch like that. There are some great vehicles I'd be glad to put on my shelves.

Nice to meet you at SWM Steve.
As I said there, your work has been an inspiration to me over the past months and I hope that you continue to inspire many others out there to get to grips with the styrene!
Hope to start the TT4 asap, though the missus will kill me if I don't start some of my purchases soon from Telford!!
Thanks

Hi Steve
I am stunned at how much detail you can get from just a couple of reference pics. I can remember you giving some hints on assessing dimensions from angled pics but can't remember half of it. Have you ever put any of your masterclasses on scratchbuilding on DVD for sale? Please let me know so I can buy!!!
Regards the blades, it looks like there could be some degree of adjustment on the pitch of the blades seen on pic two which would be wise to allow control of the rate of cut through different soil types. It would also require a more agressive cut pitch to help the movement of spoil into the centrifugal bin like the blades of a pump or fan.
From the pic the right hand blade looks like it could be hinged while the tooth on the left blade looks more angled for agressive cutting.
Do the British Army have anything with as much grunt as this for digging?
I think your work is amazing.
All the best

TOO KIND---TOO KIND!!
Have no inkling of how they set the blades --dont know anyone who does --still recon some work to be done --pic 2..(deep in the ground).. is of an updated beast ---looks like a completely different set of cutters
Any way --here is the only pic of what it is at the mo ..from SMW

Thats your lot for a while ...still 1 to come for the "hat-trick"
aye
