As a matter of fact, I do have quite a bunch of model cars. Some are of cars I've owned in the past (AMT VW Rabbit, Aoshima Montero, Ford Focus), some were clearanced priced and too cheap to pass up (MRC/Fujimi Infinity Q45 $2.90 and Tamiya Toyota Carina $6.99, Heller Porche 911 $4, AMT Dodge Viper $2, NASCAR K-Mart 2-pack $10). Some kits I've bought because I've built the kit as a kid (Revell '70s Custom Van, Aurora's The Wurst). And others I've bought because I really like the car depicted (Revell PT Cruiser, Plymouth Prowler). I've also got a fairly extensive injection molded Batmobile collection.

Welcome to the site.
I haven't built a car in a long time but have several in my stash. I'm sure you'll find other active car modellers here.

I'm primarily a car modeler, actually. Mostly mid-engined sports cars and '70's era muscle cars. But with the good import tuner kits hitting the market lately I'm getting into those as well.

I am currently working on a Revell/Monogram 1970 Chevy Chevelle for a friend of mine and hope to have to finished within a couple of weeks. I like to build a car every now and then just to do something different form planes, but after the one car I always go back to A/C.... :-)

I have two car kits in my stocks; the Revell/Monogram 1/25 1969 Charger and an older Monogram 1/32 1969 Charger. The only reason I have these kits is to display with my 1:1 scale '69 Charger project sitting in my garage. Someday, I'll finish all three and display them together!

Cars used to be all that I would make. I made a lowrider 90-somethin' Ford mustang as my first.....it wasn't too great, but good enough, I suppose, I then moved to a '76 Firebird, that one was pretty sweet, took me about a week to make, and you could tell how much better it was, then, as my last car, I made a Dodge Viper....took me two days to build, but boy does it look A MILLION times better than the other two. Then I got into my first tank, a sherman. I liked it, but decided to bridge the gap a little bit, so now I am working on a halftrack, lol, kind of a compromise....
