I have just had a look at Avenue Hobbies' website and there is a notice on the "new arrivals" page saying they are closing down and that there is a 25% discount on all stock. No other details are given

They will be missed by a great many of the local modellers...

Yep, received an email the other week. Sad indeed when a 'local' shuts it's doors...

It is indeed sad. We are losing a true modeller's hobby shop.
