Well, after a tense semi-final England against France (insert your own disparaging comment here.. ) they are through to the final. Congrats.

Now, if the Boks would oblige tonight, and win than we will have a very interesting final next week... I'm sure the recent result will be an added incentive for both sides...

Go Boks.... (well, at least for tonight )

Theres not many things that are better than beating the Aussies, but beating France just happens to be one of them
Now,,is it too much to hope for that we actually go on and win this thing?
Whatever happens, its certainly been a world cup full of surprises and one to remember.

I could not have put it better :-)

Looking forward to next weeks final, only problem is that i will be in France/Belgium visiting WW1 Battlefeilds during the day and will have to try and avoid finding out the result till i get home where i can watch it on tape.

I'm sure we can do it.

It is going to be an exciting final for sure. If England's return to form ( ) continues, combined with a desire to avenge the comprehesive kicking they received earlier from the Boks, they should be able to do it. Lets hope that the added incentive to be the first team to succesfully defend the World Championship helps England.
The Boks on the other hand have form on their hand, and the edge of just having kicked England around the field in a most embarising fashion..

Still, the World Champions V. the strongest team of the tournament, a worthy final indeed.

Get them beers in the cooler lads...it's going to be a good one...

Of course don't forget that the stats are on our side.... we've never lost a world cup final

Furthermore... we'll also have the entire of France on our side

Jokes aside... I hope the Boks aren't going into this over-confident after the 36-0 thumping earlier this tournament... this is a very different team to what we played the 1st time round...

And the Aussies, and the Kiwis, who have stayed in France despite their teams early exits.

Can you just imagine football fans staying the duration of a tournament, after their team is knocked out, to cheer on their erstwhile opponents, and all without a single hint of violence...

Argentina vs France on Friday should be a good one too, eh? Two very pissed off teams.
