Hi All,
I am looking for anything I can find on unforms of Canadian or British units in Canada during the 19th century. Any advice, help or reference would be greatly appreciated. My goal is to produce a series of drawings and scale figures. I have found a smattering of reference from the web so far. Here are there periods I'm looking for.
War of 1812
Upper/Lower Canada Uprisings 1837
Fenian Raids 1866
Red River Expedition 1870
Mahdi Uprising 1884 (Nile Voyageurs)
North-West Rebellion 1885
Boer War
Thanks

There is an older osprey book out there called
"Canadian Campaigns 1880-1890"
http://www.ospreypublishing.com/title_detail.php/title=P2269
Its not for the full period your looking for but some good reference material.
Cheersbbb
