Not that hard to transport,Jim. I built a wooden enclosure.A 12" w x 80" long Hollow core door,part of a bifold set.So,1 for the top,1/4" plywood sides.and a 12" x 80" HCD with casters as the base.
My brother drove me to Danbury,with the case bungeed into the back of his Jeep Cherokee.It did stick out the back a little.
