Just saw a commercial on TV for a new KRYLON paint "especially formulated for plastics"
Am I missing something? They advertise it like it was the latest space age spin-off or something. Aren't model paints "specially formulated for plastics"? Is this just some marketing ploy, or what?

It's Krylons first plastic paint. So it's special for them.

Krylon paints in the past have had a tendecy to react with styrene. You were advised to use a primer to protect . Don't kow if it's safe for styrene or vinyl I'ld test it first. Give it 2-3 days and see if you get any reaction

oh, they claim it will work on plastic. They show it being used on all kinds of stuff, and claim it doens't need priming. Not interested really in using it, because I don't think the pigment is fine enough anyway (most "regular" paints aren't). Just curious with the "innovation" they claim
