Is there a way to get an even thickness when rolling putty "sausages" what I am using is aves epoxy sculpt

Dunno GF... What are you using it for?
I guess it depends on the thickness (or thinness) you need...
I roll out to a certain size, approx. to when the putty wants to fold on you, then I trim it and continue rolling. It can help to roll on a slight diagonal to the length of putty also... Should become uniform in quick time!

On some glass if you know the thickness you want use some strips of plastic/wood or whatever that are the correct thiockness..... as a guide for you're rlooing pin/cylinder.
