Brand wise - nope not really, what I'd look for is cost and features. You can get a nice 'tank style' for about $100
The noise saving of this is worth it.
Air pressure guage is important. Water trap is a good thing. Size may be importan to you, not only in compressor but also tank size, 2gal, 5gal.

Budget is Key. Personally I do Use CO2. but also have a 3 gal compressor in the hobbyroom (and a 33 gal model in the garage) I'd recomend something with a tank for sure as the comprssor will run less.
