I just realized that there is a "ships" section here! So here are my 3 meters of a Sokol (falcon in English) destroyer; it was first built around 1898 by Yarrow in England, but here is one copy that the Russians made afterwards.

This class of destroyer got various fate, some were destroyed during the Russo-Japanese war, some ended up in finnish hands after 1920. The surviving ships were sent to scrap after 1922.

You may notice that there is no hull built but that's for a diorama and my Sokol is actually a wreck, which explaisn the extreme bad state of some of the parts

So I am aware that most of you guys here are in the panzer end of things and that an old Russian ship might not be your cup of tea, but you will notice all the photoetch here, it's been HOMEMADE

Now why thanks Grumpy?

Well, mr O'Meara very kindly sent me A TON of those plastic bolts while I was ending my last sprue that i bought more than 15 years ago (of course you can't find this stuff in france from what I know). And I am VERY grateful to him -actually i scratch my head for a few months now to try and find a good idea to thank him

Anyway, I hope you will like it !

This will be classic Jean-Bernard art.

Thank you guys for lighting up this Kitmaker corner
Murdo, i suppose that if there were more scratchbuilders down there, there would be less complaints about "more allied stuff" or things like that. Humbers are pretty easy to build out of scratch
Dave, yeah, beards itch when the heat is on still I want to try the really very beardy look soon enough
Scott, thanks for advertising my modest website art... how can we make some art with weapons
