I'm mostly an armor guy, but I build semi-slammers of historic/iconic aircraft and hang them in a timeline from the ceiling of my 4th grade classroom.
I'm looking to add a Korean War era fighter jet and personally like the looks of the Mig 15 better than the Saber or Super Saber.
I am somewhat surprised to find it difficult to get my hands on a 1/72 Mig 15.
I have a cruddy Airfix kit with the pilot torso molded into the fuselage half, but I am going to junk it. It will not even build up into a decent 6 footer..
So, anyone got an unbuilt, decent quality, 1/72 Mig 15 kit they're willing to part with for about $10?
I'm looking for something that will turn out better than this Airfix POS. Old school Hasegawa w raised panel lines is fine. Pilots molded into the fusealge half is not. No resin, no etch required, no Eastern European headaches in a box, just looking for a wheels up, afternoon build, spraypaint, and decal job.
I'm in the states for what it is worth.
Thanks
Mike
