If you mean Lifecolor paints..I get perfect results with distilled water.
I do have a bottle of there own 'Lifecolor thinner' but the finish is just as good with distilled water.
Lifecolor are the most fluent and consistent acrylics I've sprayed.Never had a problem with them.

vanhall,
Thank you for the info on the distilled water for the Life Color paints.
that makes it nice and easy! One more question for you if you don't mind, what ratio do you use? 50/50 30/70 or.....

thanks again,
frank

Hi Frank,
I can't precisely say what ratio I use.The method I use is to add the water to the paint in the cup with a pipelet until i get that 'skimmed milk' consistency.,and because the paint I have leftover goes back in the pot, it's difficult to give a exact ratio( I reckon it's at least 50/50).
To test it, I dab a small amout of paint on the side of a glass pot, and if it runs down slowly it's good..
I use an air flow around 12psi..
Hope this helps,vanhall.

Hi Van,
Thanks again for your help. If you say distilled water is the way to go
thats the way I'm definetly going to do it. The reason I say that is because i took a long look at your photos. They are absolutely fantastic! You are real good at this hobby. After seeing your work, I'm almost afraid to even begin. but I guess you have to start some place on the Totem Pole. Thanks to people like you though, it gives us beginners something to strive for.If for any reason I need help on anything I would like to feel that I could contact you again and if need be, I would be more than willing to compensate you for your time. Appreciated the article on the lifecolor paints too!
