Columbus, Ohio
This news was released last night to those at the final activity of the show (the dinner banquet). Other cities that were in the bidding... Sacramento, California, and Portland, Oregon.
I hear there is a nice 'little' air base near Columbus.
Cheers,
Jim
PS: Next years show is in Norfolk, Virginia if you want to start making your plans.

Great! I live about an hour from there, so maybe I can go. We might move before then, though. We'll see.

Wright Patterson is definitely worth a visit. Open year round and it is free. It is about an hour north of Columbus.
Only bad thing about Columbus is the rabid Ohio State fans.
AMPS next year an hour and a half north of me and IMPS about three hours away in 2009. Life is good.

Is that No-fork or VA Beach?
I guess I'll wait for the Journal...
VA Beach I'll go, No-Fork I won't...
Now what the difference I hear you ask...
Last time I was down that way, my old drinking estabishments were still going strong in VA Beach, but no longer there in NO Fork, and Oceanview. All became condo's.
Since I'm making plans for AMPS next year, two midwesters are out. Unless I win the lottery, or my lawyer comes through.

Wright-Patt is an hour south of Columbus, actually.
I know what you mean about the OSU fans. There was an OSU vs. Mich. game last winter. It was CRAZY!
