Hi all, My name is Paul. I 'm Australian and 28 years old, but now live in England. My new hobby is building models, mainly military models. I'm very new to all this and look forward to meeting people on here and sharing advice and tips. I would love to learn more about weathering techniques too.
I've just built a UH-34 Seahorse Italeri 1/72 model and more recently a 1:400 scale "Tarantul III" Class Corvette warship model made by Innex. I found this really enjoyable and feel I have done a better job this this one peraticularly the painting and finishing of the model.
I am looking forward to starting my M10 US Tank Destroyer 1/48 Tamiya model soon.

Hi Paul,
you are in the right forum.
Greetings from Greece,
George.
PS I am well past the Revel glue sniffing era, the castor oil from the model airplanes - boats era and now am in the gun model one. Since I am 66, I suppose this is not another modelling stage but seems I have found my way...
Have a nice time (though I hear that beer in England is not half as good as in Australia,,,)
George.
