Mine was easy, my first room mate at college (more than 20 years ago) gave it to me and it stuck, really stuck. When I was first dating my wife, all my friends used it and she thought it was really my name. She still calls me by my nickname and my kids have grown up using it too.

This one is sort of three part.
Sprue, we know what that is.
One, first or number 1, like Numero Uno!
and Ko indicates male and precedes my name to indicate this. Can also be used as social respect for older brother, such as Ko Steve or Ko Scott. There are no male or female names in Burma, just names.

I was an E-5 (SGT) in the U.S. Army when I joined Armorama way back when. Being the creative (not )person that I am, I just used sgtsauer as my screen name.

Well, You've probably figured most of it out. The only difference between my name and call sign is that I use my initials in the call sign, all those A's and L's together could get confusing.

I couldn't think of anything original that would use my real name (Allen) when I was creating my first email account many moons ago. So I decided to use my favorite plane the F-14 "Tomcat" but the ISP wouldn't let me have that so I added the "31"as that is my favorite USN squadron that flies the Tomcat, VF-31 "Tomcatters" or "Fighting 31" who use Felix the Cat as their emblem who incidentally were the last squadron to fly the Tomcat.
I also use this call sign for the online gaming i occasionally do and since it original creation it has had a few variations including Tomcat31b, Tomcat31© and Tomcat31™ to name a few.

I am rotten at thinking up new names for the different places I sign up at, so i use the same one, which is my Ebay user ID. My wife came up with that one becasue her horse is a buckskin and during the summer is a nice dark golden color.

Mine is just simply the nick-name I have had for years. It may not be very original but I like it.

Well I happen to be a redneck and not very good at coming up with something too original.

I sure didn't expect so many responses.

Carl..."Captain America"! Hmmm...maybe not...
Mine was after some serious thought, actually I sat there for abouyt 6-7mins when I got to the "pick posting name" thing...thought about some of the things the wife calls me, but this is a family site!, and then it hit me looking at the workbench...an old Dragon{DML} kit was being ignored{and old tamiya didn't sound right}, add that the handle fits on other levels, and that's who I became.

No, Actually it is much more obvious than that. To bad Captain Obvious is already being used.

It's my name.
Like Erik67 I suffer from a lack of imagination in this respect.
