Hopefully this is in the right place, if not, well crap.

Okay, here goes.

Can anybody tell me what artillery kits are out there, both towed and self propelled. I've tried searching on the net and all that happens is I end up going in circles. I bought a tamiya anti tank gun kit, and now I'm hooked

If anybody could help me I would gretaly appreciate it

Josh,

Tamiya would have a couple of the flak guns, Dragon as well. I think AFV Club would have more in their product line.

It may be better if you go browse the online shops -- try Great Models, I recall they have a category that lists artillery kits.

There are quite a few.

Italeri does an M101 105mm towed howitzer, M1 (M114) 155mm towed, M108 105 SP, M109 through M109A6 series of 155 SP, M107 175mm SP, M110 through M110A2 series of 203mm (8") SP, Russian Katyush MRL, and a few other smaller AT guns.

AFV Club has an M102 105 towed, M59 155 Long Tom towed, M115 8" towed, M40 155 SP, and a few German pieces.

DML has the M270 MLRS.

Revell of Germany has German versions of the M101, M109, M110, M270, and the Panzer Howitzer 2000.

Eastern Express has a Russian D30 122 towed, BM-21 MRL, 2S9 122 SP, and a few others.

Academy has the M12 155 SP.

Tamiya has a British 25 pounder.

In resin, Mouse House from Australia and Airmodel both have the M198 155 towed gun. Mouse House also has the M118/M119 105mm towed gun. S-Model from Poland has a Pack-75 towed gun as well.

Tamiya, Dragon, and a few others do various WWII German guns and SPs. They are not my fortay, so I don't know much about them.

That should get you started.

try this link. http://www.mheaust.com.au/Aust/Austindex.htm you'll find a very nice M198 Towed howizter, it's produced by aussie armour. The M198 is currently in service with the Australian army and if you search the site this link takes you to you'll also find a very nice scratch built Mack truck that couldve easily been built as a gun tractor. If you want any more details on the Mack truck (gun tractor) or the M198, feel free to email me as i was a gun tractor driver with the army.

Josh,

I do eBay searches for "howitzer" and "cannon." I have these in my fav searches and almost on a daily basis I get an email listing a variety of Artillery pieces....Napoleanic to modern.....Russian, German, US....self-propelled and towed (and odd things too!)...et cetera.

eBay Cannon search

eBay Howitzer search

HTH,

Mike
