I needed to create a "paved road" for the Vingette I am working on. I wanted to give the road a kinda stone foundation. I tryed a few different methods then I found a baracades kit from Tamiya in my stash. I decided to use the brick wall peices for the stone foundation of my road.

Heres what I did...

1. Cut out openings in my wood base to fit the wall peices in.

2. Covered the top with spackling paste and let it dry then sanded the peice smooth

(Before Sanding)

(After Sanding)

3. Masked off the brick peices in preperation to apply a black base coat

4. Painted the road black and let it dry

5. Gave the road a top coat of dark gray and painted the stone underneath

6. Drybrushed and weathered the road and added it to my base

Hope you like it, tell me all whatcha think!.

Good idea, that would look good on a house wall too.

Great use for that item. I think everyone of us has purchased that set and there it sits no good home - now we have a good home for this one.

Thanks
