I often read about re-boxed kits in some post. Can some kind person please explain.
what is meant by a re-boxed kit?
Does it effect quality ?
Reason being. I placed a order with hobby terra for 2 icm kits that was said to be in stock. an order conformation stating that fact. ( I deleted that email ). they shipped me alanger kit's. not in a rush to build them .no problem I'll try alanger. to my disatifaction the alanger kit seem to be softer plastic no matter how much care is taken to remove parts from sprue or during the build they seem to break. icm's ural ia a better kit built one before it could take the constant handling required to finish the build .I had them to long to return them so I'm stuck money lost. I have yet to get a response from hobby terra. Talk about customer serv. Is it standard practice for online comp. To ship inferior products (IMHO). If so has it happend to you.
Thanks for reading or any comments given
Sk2.

Thanks Sabot.
The reason I asked was . Quality.
The Acm kit is dark green.
The Alanger kit is light gray.
The Icm kit has thicker plastic.
The Alanger kit has softer plastic.
I tried to lightly sand (uaing very little pressure) a part so its flush with another part it put a curve in the part. Again with very little pressure ( not trying to lose parts) the break in two. if Alanger re-boxed Icm's kit. I wonder what happend. I think I have a stale kit. . Thanks again sk2.
