Less than 8 weeks to go folks! IPMS Ottawa will proudly host CapCon 2007 at the Nepean Sportsplex on Saturday, September 15, 2007.

CapCon is a regional show, highlighting building talents from folks in the Ottawa area, as well as Montreal, upstate NY, and a few folks even cross the prairies to take part in the festivities. In 2005, we had the honor of hosting TamiyaCon, and the show was a real stunner.

This year’s show is looking good as well. The general theme for the show is “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” in honor of the 007 presence in the show’s title.

The show will feature displays, IPMS judged competition, as well as the necessary vendor’s room. A member’s only silent auction will take place as well.

For those folks traveling from out of town, Ottawa is a great city to bring the family for the weekend, and for the military modellers among us, the National Aviation Museum and National War Museum are both in Ottawa, and are excellent choices for a visit outside of show hours.
