Does anybody know what happened to ww2modelmaker.com? It looks as if the domain wasn't renewed. A little while before it went down, members were complaining in the forums about having no access beyond the home page and forums page.
I used to use their site before I found this one. Their forums really didn't work well, but, while they had less stuff, it was sometimes easier to use than this site (this site is still great, though).
Anybody know?

I think the owner abandoned the site for some reason. The site and forum ran for a while until the subscription to the domain ran out.

I think they had a problem with hackers or anonymous posters who were out to destroy the site. I remember one page in particular, where XXX rated images were posted in-between another modellers images.
There was also very little exclusive models ... most were also shown on other sites simultaneously. Maybe the interest faded to the point where the site´s owner also lost interest.
These are just guesses ... I dont know any officail reasons.
