My name is Brent actually. When I joined the site in 2002 I was an E-5 (SGT) in the US Army hence my screen name. Fortunately, Uncle Sam has seen it fit to promote me a couple of times since then. I haven't been too active in modelling or on this site over the last couple of years here due to the birth of my daughter and the operational tempo of my army job.
I have dropped in on the site from time to time and I'm absolutely astounded at the changes that have occured here. The changes seem to be overwhelmingly positive.
Initially I didn't like the way the subjects/genre were seperated but I think I like it now.
I was promoted and transferred to a new position in the Army on June 15th and my operational time requirements are significantly less now. As a result, I'm diving back into modelling.
I build almost exclusively 1/35th scale armor but have recently developed an interest in 1/35th rotary wing platforms and 1/32nd wingy things.
It is good to be back and involved again.
