Hi,
I just joined tonight, and have only been modeling for about 2 weeks, but I'm already hooked. I've made 2 models so far (practice mostly- they were cheap- before I invest a ton of money, I wanted to have some idea of what I'm doing!) and feel ready to move on to more detailed/involved work.
Anyways, I'm glad to be here!

Welcome.
Rule 1. Have fun.
Rule 2. Ask for help whenever you need it.
Rule 3. Don't be scared to take your modeling to the next level.
Check out the campaigns when you have a chance. They are a lot of fun when you find one you like.

Welcome to the site.
In what part of California are you located?
What type models are you interested in building? (tanks, planes, figures?)
Ask lots of questions and don't be shy.
Cheers,
Charles

Thanks for the welcomes, everyone!

Well, so far I've made a jeep and a tank, and I liked both. I'm not so interested in planes/ships, but who knows? But I would like to venture in to figures.

As for "just the truck and a jeep"...you'll find your nitche along the way as to what you like or do best in...cars, boats, semis, figures, dios, sci fi....there's plenty out there to choose from...try them all one time or another.
