German Tank Interior?

What color do you paint german tank interiors? I spray either Tamiya or Vallejo.

Hello,

The correct answer is...(drumroll, pleaSE)...depends!

Depends on the vehicle, the year of manufacture, the area of the vehicle...

...many parts of the interiors were red oxide primer. Usually below the sponson. Turrets were often ivory. Some Tiger Is had field gray in large areas of the interior.

Hi Fred,
Im looking for the turet intrior color, which there was two used, one more then the other. I know the Humbrol equivalent is #41 Ivory.
But I want to use an acrylic.

My mistake its Humbrol 103 which is the same as Vallejo Buff(976)
I'll try that and see haw it looks.
RAL 1001 was the most commonly used.
