I work for an auction company that handles estate sales and inventory reductions. We recently acquired an estate from a gentleman who collected military modelling kits for most of his life, but didn't have the time to assemble the majority of his collection. We are selling the items in auction and all bids start at $1.
We have rare and out of production Tamiya, Dragon, Historex, Custom Dioramics, and much more. We are also selling many books on modelling and military history.
Sign up is free and easy here: http://www.mclemoreauction.com/buy.php
For more information or to see the collection: http://www.mclemoreauction.net/cgi-bin/mnlist.cgi?mclemore1/category/MODELS
Feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions. Thanks

I had asked if these were US dollars. I see now that they are. Another question though is I've noticed a number of cases where the pictures of the items don't match the descriptions. Which do we believe, the pictures, or the captions?

David,
All the shipping information has been added to the auction and can be viewed at this address:
http://www.mclemoreauction.net/cgi-bin/mndetails.cgi?mclemore1
Just scroll down a little ways and you will find several sections on our shipping for the models. Thanks, Jonathan

Rodger,
Sorry about the mix-up. Do you happen to remember which items were wrong? If not I would recommend trusting the picture more than the description. The picture shows exactly what you will be recieving if you purchase an item. We did our best to accurately describe the models, but understand that we may have made mistakes due to lack of knowledge in this field. Thanks for your help, Jonathan

For not knowing much you guys did a great job. Here are some I've found so far.
Item 111. Pictures show various figure kits, description says "US Amphibian, Willys Jeep, US Infantry Assault Set, Stuart M1 Tank & US Gun/Mortar Team Set .
Item 112 has various German figures sets, description says "US & British Infantry Military Miniatures."
Item 110 Pictures show various vehicles and figures, one vehicle shown, but not described is a Stuart, and one described but not shown is a 2 1/2 ton truck.
Item 109 is actually what is described in 110.
Item 107 shows various figure kits, description says "M10 US Tank Destroyer, M21& M113 Tanks " No tanks in the photo at all.
My guess is that since all of these involve older Tamiya kits, which have pictures on the sides advertising other kits, I think whoever wrote the descriptions based it on what was on the side, not on the cover.
