At the end of the month I'll be heading up to Baltimore, Maryland for a work conference. In the free time, I'll be sure to head up to Aberdeen to take some photos. Can't pass that up.

The trip to Aberdeen sounds great. Too bad you have to spend time in Baltimore though. Be careful. The unofficial city slogan is "The city that bleeds." The inner harbor might seem nice and pleasant during the day, but after dark the gangstas come out to prey on the tourists.

In case you've never been to APG, here are a couple of tips. You'll need to show your drivers license and vehicle registration to gain entry. There's no admission charge for the museum. Bring something to drink as they have no concession stands or soda machines at the museum. If you want to take pictures of the reconditioned vehicles on the side of the road, you are allowed to park on the shoulder. But DON'T take pictures in the direction of the main gate.

Have fun!

Bring tissues. You'll need them when you see the shape some exhibits are in.

Thanks for the heads up. I'd rather not spend anytime with the local authorities. As an afterthought, are there any LHS's that I should visit?

The only one I know of in the area is about 10 miles away in Belair, but it's not worth the drive. This part of the state is pretty barren when it comes to hobby shops.

While doing some research about APG before my trip, I found this site. Some really good photos here.
