Well need some advice on the Wheels for the thing.

Tamiya 1046 with Tow Humvee

Have Looked at Mig and Blast models.

Saw MIG has no writing on the sidewall and Blast had forgot to put the D in Goodyear.

So any hints on that?

Plus is the seam on the exhaust fixable or do I need the PE set from Eduard to fix it.

Heard that the way Tamiya did it hard to remove it without messing up the Pipe.

Thanks
matt

IMHO,

the raised lettering in 1/35 scale is so minimal that it wouldn't really be on the casting. I've also been doing some work on "masters" for a Well known AM Tire producer. and even after several discussions wiht them they agree that the lettering ids pretty minimal in height

It's literally only be .0008 to .001 off the face of the tire in 1/35 scale.

Don't forget: PMMS Wheel Comparison

I' go with the MIG set--that way you don't risk seeing the misspelling. In addition, as Matt pointed out, the embossing would be rarely visible in scale, anyways.

Thanks Matt and Lucas.

Well that is where I got the info from

I could read the writing real easy.

Well I do like the Blast models but Mig does give you the option to use various front tire patterns.

So Mig it might be.

I am working on two humvees M1114 and M998 with added plate armor. But I have ordered tires from tank work shop, a set of regular aggressive Tires:Seen Here
And a set of Chained Tires: Seen Here
Both are well crafted and are highly detailed. Though there is alittle bit of flash but easily cleaned up. You might want to check them out.

Thanks for the Heads up Sam.

Have a set of their Hemtt tires pretty nice.

But again MIG gives you 2 left side tires.

If that matters any

Well went and ordered them from TWS.

so will see.

Jeff--just remember that that TWS wheels have the old tread pattern, not the new aggressive pattern that the MIG and Blast wheels have.

Don't say that Lucas.

read this right here says aggressive.

Now I hope they aggressive enough for the folks if not well

Heck with them darn rivet counters. LOL.

Well let me know.
