PE windshields help needed

Does anybody have any suggestion on how to glue the clear plastic on to the PE windshield frames so that a) I have time to adjust if not perfectly aligned and b) doesn't make a mess with the glue seeping out on to the clear part.

You could use Humbrol Clearfix or I think Modelmaster makes a glue for clear parts.

Can also try this right here dries clear and is used to make small windows.
