why when I'm registered with this site and the kitmaker site accept my user name and password , its really frustrating and annoying to say the least
about to sack it all off

Hi John!
Are you referring to the NRC (Network Resource Center) as far as having problems submitting material?
Everyone, please, keep in mind, if you're having problems submitting articles and stuff to the NRC, simply e-mail your submission to the proper support dept...if you're submitting to armorama, then the e-mail addy is support@ armorama.com (without the space between @ and dot com, of course), if at Historicus Forma, support@ HF.com, and so on and such for each site...give it a try, and if you're still having problems, then give me a pm...I'll make sure to direct your submission to the proper editor...don't give up!!!!

When we created accounts for existing users on the new Network Resolution Center it was not possible to port over your passwords as they are encrypted and that system uses a different type of encrypted password. Since you use gmail though it should be possible to use the "forgot password" feature on the NRC to get a new password emailed to you.
Or you can use the steps Mark outlined above.
