I already have mission models excellent etch-mate tool, but I don’t think its sufficient for making those very fine bends in small photo etch pieces.
I’m fairly new to adding PE aftermarket parts to my models. Do any of you have any tips or techniques you could share for working with the smaller parts? Also, aside from the etch-mate are there any other good tools I should have for working with PE?
Thanks,
Noah

My tools include --"stamp" tweezers ,a pair of looooog nosed tweezers (include a set of the "squeeze to open "curved ends) a pair of looong nose pliers---especially if doing wrap-around tapered bits (Conqueror strain cages)........an old tile to work on and a steel 6" rule and single edge razor blade-----small rat tailed square file is handy ...some times use double-sided tape on tile when cutting ---stops carpet monster gobbling the "fly-aways"

I have basically the same tools as Steve. I also use the Tamiya PE pliers and diamond file. When I have to bend really small parts I usually use two razor blades.
