Hi lads I'm doing a thesis study on the 2nd SS PZ Div. And I was wondering where I could get a copy of their War Diary, and in particular, attrocities commited by the division. I've only managed to get info on the Ouradour Massacre, and I was looking to find if there were other incidents that disgraced the division.
Any info from you lads would be appreciated.

Scott, have you looked at any books specialising in this division? Aberdeen Books has at least three of a 5-volume set on Das Reich which looks very detailed. There maybe more if you look through their site.

Scott, just curious but why focus on attrocities committed by the 2nd SS? Why not attrocities AGAINST the 2nd SS (or for that matter the Wehrmacht as a whole and the Waffen-SS in particular). Perhaps you could study the plight of Sudeten Germans in the early 20th century, or even the real motives and actions of the French "Resistance".
