I got a business trip coming up next month. My boss's assistant is still ironing out the details. But the itinerary goes like this:

Ankara - Istanbul - Frankfurt - Cologne - Venice then back to Dubai and eventually Dammam.

I've never been to any part of Turkey except Turkish airspace and I don't know how much time I'd really be staying there anyway. A maximum of 3 days per destination perhaps.

Things I'm interested in:

Turkish bath & massage
Turkish coffee
Hobby shops particularly for figures
Turkish women?
Hagia Sophia
and of course - Turkish food.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

From our many Turko members and those who've been to Turkey, what's your suggestion?

Thanks.

If you have the time, go visit the Topkapi museum. It's the former palace of the Turkish sultans.

Also a must see: the Yerebatan underground cysterns and the Sultan Ahmet mosque.

Good thing: they are all very close together.....

As for Turkish women.. Try the Taksim square in the evening/ night.

Have fun in Istanbul.

Thanks snow,

I was just kidding around about Turkish women. But I would go for the night life.
