GET THIS OUT TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW WHO USES QUARTERS!!!!

Hang on to any of the new Arkansas Quarters. If you have them,
they may be worth much more than 25 cents. The US Mint announced today that it is recalling all of the Arkansas quarters that are part of its program featuring quarters from each state.

This action is being taken after numerous reports that the new quarters will not work in parking meters, toll booths, vending machines, pay phones or any other coin operated devices. The problem lies in the unique design of the Arkansas quarter, which was designed by a team
of Ozark specialists.

Apparently the duct tape holding the two dimes and the nickel together
keeps jamming up the machines.

Dave

That was just wrong. Funny in a twisted hillbillty humor kind of way. You did have me going for a second. My kid is trying to collect quarters from all fifty states, and I was seconds away from asking her if she had any from Arkansas.

I didn't reply this morning, but that one got me hook, line, and sinker before I had my morning coffee. There have been cases of badly minted quarters lately, this just seemed to be more of the same.

My wife asked, "who'd write such a thing?" My answer, anybody living in a state surrounding AR?

I actually got hooked also.
Since the guy that sent this to me has been collecting coins for all the years I have know him I figured it was going to be a hot tip.

But it did make me laugh.
