Now, sorry to moan but I picked this kit up last Friday to give me a break from a Tamiya FAMO that I'm (slowly) working away on atm.

Has anybody else had the 'wonderful' experience of building the Crusader III kit? I've not been building too long (FAMO will be 9th build) and it has to easily rank as the worst 1/35 kit I've built by a long way. A few of the problems are:

The upper hull appears to be buckled, 2 opposite corners fit, other 2 don't. Gaps along side when joined to the lower hull

Stowage at back of turret badly fitting, 0.5mm gap running through side joins and gap at top

Armour at top back of turret has 1mm open overhang when butted up tightly to hatches

Front armour has to be filed or bent to fit in

There are other problems too I've noticed.

I wondered how others who have built this model have got on as I realise that I'm not exactly the most experienced of modellers. Is this really a bad kit or is it a bit of inexperience on my part??!!
