What magazines are there for us military modellers, and where can a person subscribe to them?

I know about Military Modeller, but have not yet searched for it. My own fault...

The only way I'll get anything like that in this town is to special order it through one of our bookstores, and then I'll pay a premium price for it.

Inserting off-topic rant here: I'm even hard pressed to get decent military models here. Airplanes, ships, maybe. Armor? Softskins? Artillery? AA and SPGs? [i]Growl.i] Okay, I'm better, now........

Squadron carries a nice assortment of mags and you can subscribe through them or buy single issues to check things out. Hope it helps

Theres quite a few titles out there, Military Models in Review is good, printed in the US, but the downside of it is how infrequent it comes out, its meant to be bi-monthly, were lucky if its 3 issues a year. Then theres AFVModeller, another excellent magazine that is split between superb build ups and some real life reference material and the photography is second to none, its quite expensive though £6 a copy, but I think its worth it. Also there is Military in Scale and Military Modelcraft, both of which are the more traditional type of mag, with some colour and b/w bits, both should also be readily available in the CONUS.
Personally speaking, I never miss AFVModeller, the rest I only buy if theres an article I'm interested in.

HTH.
