I know a lot of you have seen my "Man-Cave" as my friend calls it. While it is big, it wasn't very user friendly for when I had friends over for build nights etc. So....I decided to re-arrange things. Everybody who comes over now has a place to sit, and has lights available. Its Also a lot easier to access my display cases for putting stuff in and taking them out. I did have a disaster while moving the cases though. I had to move one out from the wall about 6" so I could unload it. As I finished moving it the 6" or so, I heard a loud crash. The shelf bracket failed. None of my stuff was hurt, but my good friends WW1 stuff was completely flattened. He had a 1/16 Nieuport that had its spine broken and the wings folded up on it. Not to mention all the resin kits he had in the case. Parts and pieces everywhere. Luckily my friend took it in the stride, which I really appreciate. I felt sick to my stomach when it happened. Ok, enough of that. Here's the shop before------

And here it is after---

The last pic shows
the table a little cluttered from opening up a new tool box last night, but I think you all get the idea. Just thought I would share. "Q"

Looks great Matthew.
And like Chris's, it certainly looks larger than my apartment.

Man room heck looks more like a Hobby shop with seats.

That is one killer setup their.

Too bad you live in Colorado or you would have another {friend} coming over.

Where did you get all those cabinets From?

I need to find one that has deep shelves.

Nice job and great Awards also.

Keep them pics coming.

The "....In Range" sign will go up in my garage on the back wall. I found it at an indoor flea market here and had to have it . With a sniper background, I found it pretty funny.

Various places. One came from a sports store that was going out of business, another from a pawn shop, and the last from Hobby Lobby. The one from Hobby Lobby was the killer deal of all of them. It had been sitting outside the store for a few days. I asked about it, was told it was sold,
I grumbled, continued shopping, asked about it again, spoke with the manager for about 10 seconds and was told if I took it with me that day I could have it for $10. Needless to say, it went home with me right then and there.
Apparently, an employee wanted it, but kept dragging their feet in removing it from the property or paying for it. Guess I was in the right spot at the right time. Thanks for the kudos all. "Q"

Me too! Cool modelling area Matthew. I like the idea of having room for some modelling friends to come over ..... most make modelling even more fun. Unfortunately theres nobody near me who appear to have an interest ... and those that do ... live too far away.
Its always cool seeing other modellers "man-caves"

Wow...nice room. I wish I had more space. I'm stuck in the smallest room in my house it's a little under 9' x 10".
