I was wondering if any of our Armorama members could use this topic to post any model shows being held across this great country of ours for 2007 and 2008. That way those who may not know of the shows could plan to attend.

Time to bump this thread....

The 2007 Alberta AFV Modeller Show is September 15th in Calgary.

There will be excellent presentations, (Canadian Army Colours in WWII & Photographing AFV Models), and many prizes awarded for category winners provided by terrific sponsors.

You can't get a better place in Western Canada to have an AFV model show....The Military Museums...the biggest military museum in Western Canada.

The show theme and special award category for the 2007 show is....
"Wheeled Warriors"....all military wheeled vehicle models entered that qualify for this special award.

Check out the website and see you in Calgary at the show.

Hi Darryl (and everybody else):

Just a quick reminder that the London (Ontario) Scale Model Show is coming up on Saturday, September 15th, 2007. All indications are that we are going to have a great show, with our biggest vendors room and raffle tables ever, and modellers coming from all over Ontario plus Quebec, Michigan, New York, and Wisconsin. Plus we have some very cool awards this year.

Full details are at the show site: http://www.londonscalemodelshow.ca

Hope to see you there!

I understand TORCAN2008 is on this year for the May 24 weekend.Ill miss that one because I work retail and taking that weekend off work is as likely as me spontaneously bursting into flame. Guelph is on this year too and their show is always awesome.
