hello! i’m planning to buy my own optivisor para naman mag-improve ang quality ng figures ko. meron bang nagbebenta nun d2? sino ba sa inyo ang gumagamit nito at anong dioptre ang irerekomenda ninyo for painting figures and working with small parts?

that's okay bro. i got a number of helpful replies from one of the main armorama forums. i've decided to purchase the optivisor from the intenet since no one seems to know if it's available locally. it'll cost a little over P2,000. but i'm pretty sure its a worthwhile investment.

Hmm... eto ba yung parang strap-on na magnifying glass? I remember seeing one of the hobby shops before, but I forgot which.

Alternatively, you could use those magnifying lens used in derma tsaka sa mga pa-facial. It cost cheaper too.

I saw a pair at Lil's a couple of months ago. I don't know if it is still there.

really?!? i asked them about it a few months back and nobody seemed to know what an optivisor was (i found this strange since usually, mas knowledgeable ang mga empleyado ng lil's than other shops i go to).

anyway, sayang pero nakabili na ako through the internet. i addressed it sa brother ko sa atlanta, usa. para makatipid sa shipping, someone's going to bring it home next week so i'll finally be able to use one. salamat na rin sa info. i'm sure may iba pang interested bumili nyan. baka pwede nila i-check out ang lil's.

yep. nakabili na ako. ang advantage ng optivisor is para siyang eyeglasses so dalawa ang lens niya, giving you stereoscopic vision, so hindi ka mahihirapan sa depth perception. nag-try kasi ako ng magnifying glass pero nalilito ako dahil nga single lens lang siya. di ka makasiguro kung gano kalayo yung figure na pinipinturahan mo.
