Hi lads, a quick question here, were the soldiers that served in the Herman Goering Panzer Division ex Paras. And did any of the Para units use any armour when they were used as infantry.

From what Wikopedia has to say about the H.G. panzer division, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermann_Goering_Division the division didn't start out as a parachute division at all, and even pre-dated Goering taking over the Luftwaffe. So no, it wasn't all ex paras, and perhaps didn't have any ex paras in it. I can't find any info on if the Fallshirmjagers used any armor at all.
