Greetings everyone-

I just wanted to say hello and pass on my incredible awe and admiration for the quality of people and builds here. About me- I have only just a couple of days ago decided to take a pause from aircraft modeling because I felt like I hit the proverbial 'brick wall.' I'm a 30 year-old, full-time graphic design student, married, and working part time. When I could grab a spare hour every once in a while I had been working on too many different kits and I lacked motivation to finish any of them. So my wife suggested a change in genre.................and VOILA! here I am. I built a 1/35 Tamiya M1A1 many years back and absolutely loved building the kit. It's in fact, at my old hometown LHS in a display cabinet.
In any case, here I am and motivated to build. I'm looking to buy the new Dragon M1A1 AIM and display it with a nice 'terminated' T-55. I'm a very slow builder. Very slow. But I look forward to posting build progress pics here and getting help and critiques. I'm an artist so critiques are not a problem- even the harsh ones. I find that in many occasions the harshest ones tend to have the most valuable advice or, big OR- complete bs by someone who has never built a kit. Anyways, this looks like a top-notch gathering of talent and folks and I'm excited to be here!
