TOW 2 Weapon System Part II

A few months back, I wrote an article covering the basic set up of the Ground TOW 2 Weapon
System. Recently, there have been several threads asking how the system is set up on a
Hummer. So what I did was dig out my Operators Manual, TM 9-1425-450-12, and slapped this
together for you all to read. So with out further hesitation, here we go.
First, we’ll start off with the markings on the box for the missile tube, and the missile tube itself.

One thing I’ve noticed missing from the Academy and Tamiya Hummer kits and from built
models(mine included), has been the storage fixture for the Traversing Unit (TU). Here we see the
TU adapter and where it is located.

Patrick, By any chance are you talking about the Stinger version? If so, that is awhole different MOS other than mine. The 45K work on that.
