About SSgtTravisR
Here's my "Brief" Bio: Born & Raised in Washington State. I graduated from Kelso High School in 1992, and joined the US Air Force just before Christmas of that year. My job in the AF was as an avionics technician on KC-135Rs, MH-60Gs, and UH-1Ns (Communication & Navigation Systems). I stayed in the USAF until 2000, when I took a job with Intel Corporation as a manufacturing technician. Due to the cruddy economical turns in 2000-2001, I decided to leave Intel Corp and come back into active duty. I spent one year of that 2 year break in the Oregon Air Natl Guard as an F-15 Avionics Technician trainee. I never did make it to any formal training for that aircraft. Now I work on all Avionics Systems on the F-16. I could also work on the avionics for the F-117A, CV-22A, and the RQ-1. Here are all of the bases that I have been stationed at: 1992-1993: Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX (Basic Training) 1993: Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS (Technical Training) 1993-1994: Malmstrom AFB, Great Falls, MT 1994-1996: McConnell AFB, Wichita, KS 1996-1999: RAF Mildenhall, Mildenhall, Suffolk, England (NNE of Cambridge & London) 1999-2000: Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM 2000-2001: Portland IAP, Portland, Oregon (Oregon ANG) 2003: Keesler AFB, MS & Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, TX (Technical Training) 2003: Cannon AFB, Clovis, NM Places that I've been overseas (that I can talk about ;) ): 1993: 45 days in Milan, Italy & 45 days in Pisa, Italy 1995: 45 days in Istres AB, Southern France 1995: 4 days in Yokota AB, Tokyo, Japan 1995: 5 days through Azores, Portugal & RAF Mildenhall, UK 1996: 102 days in Riyadh AB, Saudia Arabia 1997: 45 days in Istres AB, Southern France 1998: 5 days in Moron AB, Seville, Spain 1998: 10 days in Aviano AB, near Venice, Italy
