Started model making in 1975 when I was 5, first model: USS Enterprise from Star Trek. Mostly built planes growing up, and then mostly US WWII. From 1990-1996 I was in the US Navy, as a nuclear Machinist's Mate 2nd class, served on two attack boats stationed out of Pearl Harbor: USS Aspro (SSN-648) and USS Tunny (SSN-682). Now I'm a locomotive engineer for Union Pacific Railroad, and divide my time reading, playing the piano, and building models, when I'm not at work.
