I have been building now for about 20 years. Although, for the last seven, I have been buying more than I have been building. My wife seems to think that having about 80 unbuilt kits is a bad thing. But they keep comming out with new kits that I just have to have. I build just about everything, but mainly WWII german a/c and armor.

dartman,
Welcome aboard. You can always refer your wife to some of our users here that have thousands of unbuilts. That will give her perspective.

Cheers,
Jim

Welcome onboard Dartman. I guess you`ll have more in common with the guys on here than you think. There have been some funny threads in the past, where guys have revealed there efforts to smuggle in the new kits without the other half seeing them.
Good luck and hopefully weŽll see some of your work ........ after 20 years you must have some beauties in your collection!

Welcome to Armorama Dartman ....Only 80 kits, that's well below the average modeller here I would venture to say. Hope you enjoy the forums.

below the AVERAGE .. ? Good grief, I hope not. But this site is home to a handful of notorious collectors, some of whom seriously consider expanding their home to have extra room to stockpile the kits.

Hi dartman, welcome to the best site on the web
Only 80 kits, I have about 150 unbuilt. So you build WWII German A/C, you might be interested in the Battle for Britain campaign thats getting going, on the Aircraft board. :-)

Dartman,
I've got about the same amount of unbuilts as you dude. My wife is understanding but ready to see me build more than I buy.

Welcome to the site! I'm sure you'll find enough help and inspiration around the site so that you'll be whittling down that unbuilt pile of kits in no time!
