Hi all. I have been doing armor for about two years and thought about trying this airplane thing. I picked up a Tamiya 1/48 F4U 1D Corsair with moto tug to try. Anyone with links to pics and stuff would be of great help.
And workbench shots and review would be cool too. I was also thinking of a Phantom jet as the shape and cockpit could be superdetialed which I like to do with armor. BUT, the kit from Tamiya was about 200 dollars, whoa ! Anyway maybe after the Corsair is completed.
Tnanks in advance and cheers from Canada eh ?

Tamiya kits are on the expensive side, but are a good starter kits for beginners since the fit is very good. You might wnat to try some cheaper kits to hone your plane building skills
