I'm new to the forum, but I've been modeling a long time. Modelrailroading mostly, but, generally build a good ship model every coupla years. Allways interested in ships plus their connections to railroads. Specially back in the days of Steam and Sail.

Welcome Bill.
I've been working my way back into the hobby slowly but life keeps getting in the way. This is a great site. Loads of Info & helpful friendly people and it makes me feel a part of the hobby though my building time is low.

Hello Bill:
And welcome to the Big A (a nick name the members use) from an old
cogger from the American Heartland. You live in a beautiful state. Had the
good fortune to travel in that area during my Army daze!
Be sure to check out the ShipWright, the figure painting/sculpting site
(Historicus Forma) and Model Geek as well. A fine group of friendly and
talented gals and guys from all over the world. There are over 14,000
members on this site. Again, welcome
