Anyone catch the preview for the new Bruce Willis film 'Tears of the Sun'?

Some very nice looking M4's in the scenes they showed!

Yeah I've seen that one a few times. Looks really good. If you want to see the preview again go to www.movies.com and go to upcoming/previews adn they'll have a huge list there. Even the Matrix!!!

Well, well, well. I must say, the trailer looks impressive. I think that this may be one of the few films that I see in theaters (as opposed to the 5 or 6 I rent each week #:-) )

Premise: A team of Navy SEALS is sent into the jungle in the heart of Nigeria on a search-and-rescue mission for a doctor. When they get to the village, the doctor says that she'll only leave if 70 refugees can leave too, which changes the mission's scope... can a handful of U.S. soldiers get to their rendezvous point before the several hundred African soldiers on their tail get to them first?

Saw the Ebert and Roper show yesterday and they gave it Two Thumbs Up.

Only complaint is that the end kind of turned into an all out action fest.

But, they said overall it was pretty good, the action and filming was great, and Bruce Willis was really good.

Can't wait!

I just saw Tears this afternoon. I'd give it two thumbs up. Not much vehicular hardware to speak of, just some carrier scenes, a few Seahawks, brief pair of Hornets for the good guys. The bad guys show a few scenes with deuces and those Mercedes Unimog-type trucks.

Lots of action.

I just came back from seeing the movie. It is a definite thumbs up from me. It was quite realistic and very well made. I thought the weapons and equipment was up to par as well.

Well, saw it and would recomend it to action/war movie fans.

Think there were some powerfull moments and some a bit overdone, too. But, I think the movie holds itself together pretty well. Compared to so many of the recent action flicks that are more like comic books than anything else, Tears of the Sun manages to stay within the bounds of reality.

Glad they didn't get too dramatic with some of the 'political' components.

This is one movie that I wouldn't have minded seeing run for a few more minutes to develop the characters a bit more. Willis is good, but I think could have had a bit more to do.

Some great looking weapons (love the SOCOM pistols and Willis' pimped out M4) and the sound of the battle sequence will knock you out of your seat at at theater with good sound.

Because of what is going on in the world, I hear this won't be released overseas for a while.

Good way to spend two hours. Not as powerfull as Black Hawk Down, but a must see for war movie fans.

Thanks for the reviews guys, I get so tired of these action films starting out good and then turning into stupidity like Schwartzi's "Commando" one guy with an M-60 running all over an island with a hundred guys shooting at him with automatic weapons never hitting him once and of course he kills all of them.

To make a good movie a hero always wins. Then again there is always that Oscar-winning flick where the hero dies and ruins everything lol.
