Hi,
I'm Mark, just getting back into modelling after nearly an 18 year break... job, marriage, children... you all know the score. But now, still have the children, an ex-wife and an understanding girlfriend I've come back.
My main interest is WW2 German armour but enjoy most things 'Tracked'... Just working on my first project since starting again and hope to get some photos online soon for comment.
Thanks to you all for an outstanding website... things have certainly moved on over the past years... for the best!
It's good to be back amongst friends.
Mark

Gidday Mark! 18 Years is a long time to be away from the hobby. As you'll have probably guessed by now things have changed; new manufacturers have ended Tamiya's dominance (eg, Dragon, Trumpeter) and you have the net to aid you, with some great sites like Armorama. Looks like you'll be pulling up a modelling bench and joining us.

Hi Jeff, John and Steve,
Thanks for the welcome...
18 years is a long time and the model world is certainly a different place... there are some outstanding kits on the market now, plus of course PE and resin add-on's... Just trying to ease myself back into the saddle and resist the urge to start to stock pile kits!
This site has been excellent and has opened my eyes to what’s out there now, plus the excellent advice you’re all willing to give.
Once again... Thanks everyone.
