I have just discovered one of the best manuals on the Flak 88. I can not beleive the detail, graphic depiction, or the amount of effort that has gone into explaining how the Flak 88 functioned! Of course this was for this US War Department during World War 2, dated 1943. This is technnical manual # E9-369A , consisting of 183 pages. Since there are more kits on the market now for the 88 so this is by far the best reference (just what do those wicker container's base plates look like! Or the amazing detail on the round cartridge case!) I believe three years ago or so there was a DVD of this same publicaiton reviewed on Perth Miltiary Modeling website. I have located the actual manual. What a publication that is valuable for the minature modeller of the Flak 88.
